I beleive that these foxes are now extinct. When the settlers came over from Europe, they gave them food to get them closer and killed them in the strangest ways. They were only in North America and they were killed for their pelt and food and sometimes for sport.

the Warrah Newsletter of Falklands Conservation wrote:
The Warrah or Falklands Fox (Canis antarcticus) was the only endemic Falklands mammal. This bold and inquisitive animal was never very numerous but, with the introduction of sheep, farmers backed by a Government bounty were encouraged to hunt them. The last one was killed in 1876.

Our Newsletter is so named in the hope that it will play a small part in preventing any other Falkland wildlife following the same path to extinction.

There is alot about this animal which will remain unknown because of the extinction. I have found a few pics of how it looked.

I tryed to get different pictures because then more people will reconize why they had the name of a fox and wolf.

They were only found in the Falkland Islands, off Argentina. They were also killed by sheep farmers. I have read that there's only 11 museum specimens left of this fine species. Sad
