Yesterday, a Shiloh dog (as I call them) appeared in my backyard. I went out to see what it was doing, and it just came through an open gate on the side of my house. The dog was really friendly, and had a dog collar on, so I picked him up and carried him back to the front of my house where there was another Shiloh dog running around. They both seemed to have gotten loose so I was deciding whehter or not I take them to my backyard and call the number on the collar.

But they ran away and went up to some kid. Not sure if it's the owner's kid or not but I figured the owner must live nearby. I thought it was kind of nice to get a visit from these two dogs, since I don't have a dog of my own.

That is cool. I had something similar happen to me about two years ago. A Lab dog came into our yard and we took him in fed him and drove him all around our subdivision, only to find out that his owner lived at the corner of our street.
