I was thinking that it might be a good idea to make a new freewebs site for a backup forum. Forum up deletes a forum after inactivity for 2 weeks(i think). If i created a freewebs site it would not be deleted until i hit the delete button. So just as a backup i can, and probably will, put up a forum as backup to this one. I would put every section in it, word for word. The only thing i cannot really copy is the separate topics. I will be able to get the Fox, Wolf, Dog, Canidae, and all other sections in it. This forum is approching its 3 year anniversary and i want to see it stay alive as long as possible. I have been thinking about this site and the fact that it has been rather inactive for a while... So i really think it is a good idea to do this. I will post it up as soon as possible, I will post the link if ONE other member aggres with me.

WhiteFox, I will also give you admin permissions on the new site if you would like to join it. And i will control the new site under your orders. I really would like to keep this site running and even if it is not here, it can still live on!

I will start working immidiately and i will post the link after the first person that aggres with me. And i will post the link if i ever feel that the site is becoming dangerously inactive. Please, If you are reading this, i would REALLY like someone to agree with me so i can keep this alive. I have been with it from its birth and it would really tear me up if i see it close down. I am starting to work now so i will see you all later!

Sounds like a good idea with me. This forum has been very inactive as of late and I've ran out of ideas to keep it up. I remeber starting this forum just a few months before I turned 16, now I'll be turning 19 very soon. A lot can happen in 3 years, and it's kind of a miracle that this site still exists. Thanks to everyone who's been on it.

ForumUp deletes inactive forums? I didn't know that before.

The fact then, that CC is still up after all this time, may be due (at least in part) to my insescant posting in the FP topic even while no one else was around. Embarassed

A back up forum might be a good idea, just in case. I would love to see Canidae Central become active again someday. Whatever happens, I'll always be around here keeping an eye on things. Waving

The website link in my profile also goes to the backup site. It is probably best to bookmark it just in case we can't get back to this later.
