Here’s an interesting set of photos that shows fur and feather fighting over a snow-encrusted carcass in Finland. The first link is the Snopes.com research on the photo that was attributed to a hunter in Montana, but the whole series in the second link shows that it’s in Finland. The photos are incredible.

Yep, foxes and eagles don't ever get along. Eagles have the advantage of flight and long sharp talons.

That was one of the problems with the island foxes, the golden eagles were killing them. But the golden eagles were taken from the island and relocated, and then the bald eagle was brought back to the island, but the bald eagle doesn't bother the foxes because the bald eagle eats fish.

Raptors are the coolest birds but they harrass the smaller animals like foxes quite a bit. But that's the harshness of nature; however, I still believe that nature is more kind to the animals than most of modern society.
