Well, I guess I'm gonna be the first to answer this...
I would go as far as to injure myself if necessary. If I knew that I'd get injured in the process, I'd try and save the fox anyways. I wouldn't put myself in any life-threatening situation, I'll say that much. But I would definitely be willing to go through physical pain to save a fox. _________________

I would rescue a fox from a hole or trap and bring it to rehab and yes risk a bite but not sacrafice my life. I've taken plenty of animals to rehab and we rahabed them myself long ago when it wasn't a crime to help wildlife.
Story on setting animals free though--
A fennec fox breeder had some red foxes she had rescued from a fur farm, retired breeders or something that would have been put down. She was carefully screaning to find them qualified homes.
Someone came claiming to be interested in buying a fennec kit. This person was left alone for a moment as she went to get the kit and the visiter freed the red(silver actualy) foxes. Every single one was later found. Every single one died most on the roads some to wildlife all in a day or two's time.
Honestly if you bothered to ask the animals they would not agree better dead than in a cage. Especialy since fur farm foxes are now a domestic breed though not domestic in the puppy sense of the word they have been changed from their wild cousins and wouldn't survive in the wild due to these changes. They in fact are terrified of this new enviornment called the wild.
Remember the rescued gorrila who lived in a cage then sent to a nice zoo? He was scared to go out on the grass not having been outside before. |

That story reminds me of the recent issue about the baby polar bear found in Germany or somewhere. I forgot. But how people think that the bear was better off dead.... I don't see any logic in that. Sure, you can be against housing wild animals but when you go as far to kill them so they aren't in the human homes, that's a little too far... a lot too far. |

*sly mischevios grin* Speaking of the whole save a fox i would do anything short of suicide to save one. and the fur farm thing lets just say when the workers got back in the morning their was a little surpries or two for them. _________________ I am Krysys twin brother of Krystal |

Short of suicide? Lots of options there... It'd be interesting to know how far you would really go... I'm not suggesting anything. But there are things "worse than death" so short of suicide is kind of a broad area. |

I probably wouldn't stand in front of a gun..but i would donate thousands to make a fox sanctuary. _________________ I don't mean to be aesthetic in other people's houses..but your rug looks like a beaver exploded it. |
