Just to let you know digital cameras do take a long time to take a picture. When you take one picture you have to wait until you can take another picture. I have a digital camera right know but I am looking into getting an automatic camera. I think it called an automatic camera, but not exactly sure. _________________ I am spririt brothers with the wolf and fox |

Once you see one fox, I find then you start picking them out like crazy. Before I saw the foxes at the beach, I would quite often miss them. Now that I know their habitat, quite often I catch glimpses of them peaking out from the woods while driving. _________________ Polly |

For what it's worth, I'd say that hand is genuine (care to enlighten us? ) I never photoshop a *photo* (except basic stuff like lightening and darkening) but when I'm doing creative art work, I make the most of the tools at hand. My site banner is comprised of about six different images. For my Only registered users can see links on this forum! Oh well. Great photos, Polly, and absolutely beautiful foxes.
I've never used anything other than a digital camera. My current one is a Canon 300d digital Rebel (that is, a digital SLR) with a Sigma lens that goes up to about 400mm (about 12x optical zoom). Also got six megapixels, which allows high quality images.
For most wildlife, zoom is essential, which leaves you a) needing a tripod or b) having steadier hands than your average goalkeeper. At the absolute minimum, you want 6x zoom; lower than that, forget it except for unusual situations or photographing, say, frogs.
You also ideally want a camera with a fast shutter speed to stop images blurring (as Silverfox says, *some* digital cameras are bad for this) and one that's tolerant of low light conditions. Macro gives you the option of great pictures of insects. A camera doesn't have to be expensive to be good, but honestly, having seen what Canon DSLRs can do, I would never willingly go back to anything else. _________________ Visit my

Thanks so much It was really fun to make. The idea is eventually to do another one set in the wilderness somewhere. I even have shreds of a plot, but, you know, it's finding the time. _________________ Visit my

Yeah, I know what you mean there. I used to make RPGs but it was hard to find the time with school and a bunch of other things going on...I just hope you don't do what I did, I eventually gave up, I hope you stay with it cause I enjoyed teh game and I think that I would enjoy the other one that you said that you were thinking of making. Hopefuly you can find the time, good luck with it. _________________

Thanks for your encouragement.
I may start another thread about the game, actually, and leave this one to Polly's foxes... _________________ Visit my
