My own little species that I invented for a novel I am writting... Here is a basic desc of the breed.

Arkain wolves are very similar to werewolves except they do not shift. Arkain appear to be werewolves that have permantly shifted. They do not become humans in any way. They are more like Dire wolves in a way but can often speak in a civilized language, and they often are capable of walking erect. The average size for one is about 6’ to 7’ in length and about 3’ -3 ½ ‘ tall, when walking on all fours. When on two legs they often stand at 6' tall, with the body build of the steriotypical football player. Their fur ranges from just about every color except electrics and pink or purple. Their eyes range from all colors except pink and purple. They are great with weapons, most prefer paw to paw combat. Subspices include all mammals and reptiles.
