I was wondering about the RPs a lot of them seem dead. it seems no one posts anything if this is true. its a sad fate. it seems that none of them have as many posts as New life did and that was the first RP there was.
are RPs dying on the forum?
Does anyone post or is it just that no one has time anymore?
One of the reasons I liked posting was to get better at writing, I still want to be a writer so I try to practice as much as I can. If some of the RPs are dead then Crying or Very sad

I just wish that the RPs could end in a good way. I want to end New Life in a good way but I still need help. I will not give up till I have no other choice. even then I would like to make one last post ending it in as good of a way as I can. Please all don't let the RPs die. help end them in a good way if need be.

Maybe they are shy of taking over the story perhaps? iam not sure, i think we can be more creative, my spur of the moment one i made was ok but went quiet or maybe i need to put another reply in Confused

I had an email from TheWhiteFox about the forum getting too quiet, we need to think of something so that he dosent think of closing it, not that i think he has that in mind.

I have a plan, maybe we can update the forum to Invisionfree or IPB or something? that has more features and more attractive for members and new members to post?

The only snag with those is that you lose all current posts, so its probably not worth it but lets keep this forum alive, all we need is more exciting ideas, we can do it!

Well, as an RP moderator, I've read practically ever post in the RPs. But perhaps it's time I do more than that...

Sharrakor you have some ideas? If it is time to end some then ok.. but at least we should make a ending post eh? or is there still hope?

I will help ant way possible. I have come to like this site a lot! I have seen rps do this before. In a little while things will pick up again trust me. When I was an active member of Wolf Web this happened often and for long periods of time, but it was due to members "forgetting" about the rps. I know you all well here and you all aren’t the type to just "forget". People will start getting active again. People have other things to do than just sit by a computer all day and check out a website and roleplay all day. I am telling you just wait things will get active again.

Well this question is for the few people that have read New Life, just wondering what can or should be done.

I don't know who all has read the whole thing, but if you notice it is still the longest running RP. It was the first but has been inactive for months I put a lot into this RP and even wanted to re-write it into a book. but so far I have hit a block. there has been many stories that I have wrote that have not made it to the end. Does anyone have any advice for me? cause White was the only other main person in the story, and now that he is very busy (which is understandable) I don't know what to do now. Do I just end it? or do I wait for another few months? Perhaps it is just lost.

As for the other RPs I have no problem in waiting cause well I haven't put as many posts and effort into them, don't get me wrong I do put a lot of effort into them it's just that I have put more into New Life.
for now I will just wait till someone can sagest some thing that will help end it or refresh it.

I just made a character. I am re-reading some of the RPs...gonna check which one she'd fit in best. Don't expect me to enter any RPs immediately, cuz I wanna make the right decision.

Some advice for you Wise is wait a few months. I had a situation very much like yours once. It was the first rp that I had ever made, of course back at Wolf Web and everything was going just fine then everybody stopped replying. I pmed them all asking what the heck was going on. Some replied saying there were dropping out of it others said they didn't have time at the moment to reply to it. So I waited for months for them to reply. After a while I put it up in roleplay requests for new member’s stating that "you must be an active roleplayer to join" and in time many people replied asking to join. Then it was an active rp again and as it went on the older members started replying again too. So my advice just wait.

Anyway, it would be cool if they do come back, I started posting in Surviving Winter..I love Roleplaying it's so fun, Though, yes, even though I'm new, most do seem a little dead...
