Another one that is writing a book? thats awesome!!!!!
I haven't seen a coyote though now that I think of it I might of. There are some "dogs" in Windsor (thats Windsor ON) I have been told that alot of people mistake coyotes for stray dogs. The funny thing is that all the "dogs" I have seen have been friendly to me.. lol...
btw.. look in the literature section on the forum you might like some of the stuff you read |

I put in my own wildlife guide that people should beware free running dogs when wondering if they're watching a wolf or coyote, but to be honest it isn't generally a huge issue. Every time I've seen a wolf or coyote, there's really been no doubt about it at all. Wolves have the most massive legs, and oddly that's what you notice most when you see them in the wild. Coyotes are just coyotes, and usually in coyote-ish locations doing coyote-ish things, like leaping on voles or curled up in a ball trying to keep warm.
Then again, I am probably the only living person who has mistaken a huge male lion for an antelope so odd things can happen
Enjoy your writing White Wolf  and as for my sightings, I've seen wolves in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Yellowstone, and coyotes pretty much throughout Canada. And various places in the US.

I've only seen one coyote before, in my friend's "backyard," which is actually a mountain. But I only saw it briefly, and then it was gone. _________________

Yeah, that does mean something. It means that you've seen them on TV.
On a serious note, I'm gonna be heading over to that friend's house for Thanksgiving and hopefully, I'll be able to see at least one coyote in his mountain *cough* I mean backyard. _________________

i have seen a lot of coyotes, they are all over the place where i live. i have seen some on my friends property, but mainly out at the Guadalupe Dunes where my dad works. Guadalupe is actually about maybe 30 minutes away maybe more maybe less from where i live. there are a lot of animals out there from the cute like the coyotes and foxes to the deadly like the rattle sankes, and some large cats _________________ I am spririt brothers with the wolf and fox |
