The sun rose early in the morning, along with the wind that blew in the long grass. A few clouds sauntered across the open sky following the trail of the wind. Warm are told of the welcoming day, if would embrace any that felt its warmth. Sounds of the busy highway could be heard the humans and their automobiles. Many animals dare not go near those sounds though the forest under the mountain held nothing but peace this dawn.
It had been a year and a half since his mother returned to her realm; he could still remember all of what she said. “Sixteen years of knowledge I leave you. It is up to you how you use that knowledge. Remember your fathers courage and in what he did. For I am without a doubt that we shall see him again.” The vixen bows to her son, her tails brush his face of tears. “Do not remember your tears but remember your heart” the white Kitsune vixen picks up her son holding him with her tails. She hugs him tight and puts him down. “You are only half Kitsune and it tares my heart that you can not come with me, nor can I stay.” Then the five-tailed mother smiles and looks into her sons face. “But you can still prove yourself. Thus one day you shall come to the place of Kitsune.” A portal of light opens behind her and she walks backward into it. As she steps through she says one last thing. “Remember Exodus 20:12 in all that you do. Do us honour, as I know you will. Your father’s heart you have so use it well; your mothers wisdom you have thus remember it.” She walks though the portal and it closes. The last remembrance of her voice say “good bye my son take courage and I will see you soon”
The last bit of memory faded from his mind, with the sun rising high in the air, the edge of the forest seemed to sing with birds. Walking now into it, the half Kitsune sniffs out a mouse, and pounces. Licking his mussel and paws he remembers to practice his abilities.
He starts by climbing up a tree, jumping from one branch to the next. When he got to the top the wind blew in his fur and it helped him to be thankful each day.
Now was time for practicing his fire control. He gathered sticks together and brought them down near the stream. Having water near in case he had any trouble was always wise. With the sticks in a pile he put his paw on them and concentrated. A small flame lit from the paw, onto the wood. Passing his paw through the flame he made it dance about. Colors danced and shapes formed images of his father standing before human hunters, then all was engulfed in flame. He sighs and Putts in again his paw, the flames died down and returned to him.
Now for his daily run he would run till his heart pounded in his chest and he had no air left. This son of Kitsune was not the fastest runner but he most certainly was not the slowest.
After his run he wandered though one of the wheat fields he sees a tree in the middle of it. An apple tree here? And a mutsu to boot. They were his favourite apples he loved them, especially cooked. he grabbed one and put his paws around it, cooking it most of the way though then he bit into it. These are the best; I wish mom taught me to make those things called pies, perhaps someday. He looks up to the sky thinking again about his mom.
“I will make you and father proud.” He turns his head hearing a noise in the wheat. Waiting to see what will emerge but it friend or foe. “Who are you? And why have you followed me?” Sayran stands staring at the place of the moving wheat. |

As Valerie watched the two foxes converse from a distance in the shadows of the forest, she couldn't help but notice the one that looked somewhat like a kitsune.
"Hmmm....couldn't be, could it? Is that Kara's son? Yes, it is! But how? How on earth........hmm....this might be an intiresting to see how this unfolds, maybe I will introduce myself later, or maybe I should just keep my distance....I will make a decision when it is more dark, until then, I will stay in the shadows and observe," she chuckled to herself in her mind. This was definately something she was going to want to watch and see how it turned out. _________________

He walked out to greet Basil when he heard another voice call out. Now Shujin seen two foxes intro deuced them selves. Just then they heard a musical melody the three foxes followed the sound and found the blue Kitsune playing her Indian flute. They sat and listen for a minute before they introduced themselves.
The half Kitsune wondered what his new fox friends knew of him and what they could do to help, but his mother always told him the Great Creator made all creatures and that even the smallest snail can be a blessing. So Sayran smiled and told his new friends about what his quest is all about.
“I have to prove that I am, a true Kitsune by blessing others and helping all that I meet. It also is about learning by experience it is a test to see if I will stay with what I have been taught or if I will not.”
With his head down and a sigh, “there are some that never make it. They give up and perish for the world is full of evil and sorrow. The Kitsune are here to fight that sorrow that power that draws on sorrow. There are demons on this earth that the normal eye cannot see but they are there none the less. All that live on this Earth can fight it if only they believe. It is my job to help them and encourage them, not only do the right thing but to be a example in doing what is right so they know for them selves.”
Looking at the others, the fire fox tells of his mother and why it is so important to prove himself a true Kitsune. “ I will do this not only to honour my mother but my father also."
The afternoon had worn on as they talked to each other about them selves.
On the other side of the mountain a invisible evil rose putting fear and sorrow into the hearts of the residents of a small human town. A savage group had come to plunder and take all that they could. Many died in fear and sorrow, longing for revenge on the savage ones, they did not know their souls had been tainted and thus could not enter the spirit realm. This would stop any new kitsunes from coming to earth for the time being.
(ooc: I would like everyone to talk about what their character talked about with the others what they thought of the others and what they learned. And what thoughts they have where they come from the kind of questions you talk about with new friends. : bic)

As Valerie sat there listening to her unexpected visitors she decided that maybe it had been best that they had found her instead of the awkwardness of having to do it later when she showed herself to them.
"Well, my name is Valerie and I just got sent to earth a few years ago and I'm trying to find out what my purpose is, but I do recognize a little known fact.... you, Sayran are Kara's son...I have met her once, but that was a long time ago....she was a teacher of mine at one time..." Valerie said as she looked at her new companions. "I am a kitsune, like your mother, and have always thought it to be better up there in heaven than down here, but I will stay down here until I fulfil my purpose, whatever it may be..."
The sky was still a light blue hue but Valerie knew it would be getting dark soon, it always took time for the sky directly overhead to change into its darker blue color. The forest was all quiet as animals of all shapes and sizes prepared for the night, and there was a light breeze, it carried with it a scent that Valerie didn't recognize but knew couldn't be good. Se decided to keep quiet though and just continue to listen to the others talk. _________________

Suddenly remembering what he was doing Shujin made up his mind....he had to leave "*tch* ...Ive been here far too long I still have to find a way to purify the land in greater strength.....not to be rude but I must leave....may we meet again...." Shujin then ran off towards a human town to use his healing power "purifying haze" to cleanse the humans hearts without being noticed. Growing hungry Shujin finds a lake nearby and catches some fish and returns to his path to the town.

As the sun set in the sky, casting a purple haze over the feild, a small vixen stood near a grove of trees on a grassy knoll, overlooking the feild. The sky was painted with beauty and happiness, or so it seemed to her. Sunsets like this were rare, and she paused to take it all in... as the sky grew darker above and more colorful below, until the sun almost dissapeared below the sea of amber grass waving in the feild.
With a sigh of plain regret that it was almost over, she turned to the feild in front of her. A smile brightened her face as she realised she was not alone- there were others of her kind down there, looking to be conversing among themselves.
She almost leapt for joy, it had been a while since she had been with others of her kind. Her sister was the last she had spoken to, just before it happened. With a shudder, she pushed the thought out of her mind. It was so easy to reopen an old wound, and she did not want to dwell on the subject, for the risk the pain would get deeper. She sighed, then cleared her thoughts before bounding down into the field.
She stayed at the edge of their ring, but then knowing that she could not keep hiding, she stepped forward. With a flick of her tail and a smile on her maw, she laughed a little before speaking. "Hello, I'm Tria, and I don't think I've ever met you all before..." She paused, and looked around at everyone before continuing. "I hope I have not intruded on your meeting... if so I'll leave." She bowed gracefully before taking a step backwards, but waited for one of them to respond. She did not want to leave, it had been so long since she had last seen one of her kind, she wanted to wait to see if they would accept her into their conversation before whisking away unsocially. _________________ -Silv

Just as Shujin was leaving as the new fox introduced her self. He bowed one last time and took his leave.
The others greeted the new vixen friendly, and Sayran introduced himself.
”Welcome I am glad to see so many foxes this day. I am Sayran.” He looks over to the other two “and this is Basil and Valerie.” He points to the others with his muzzle. “ No you haven’t intruded, this is the first time we all have met. So don’t think you are intruding.”
The fire fox looks at the others, "are we all going to camp out here together? Or are we separating? You all talk amongst your selves. I will be right back.” After bowing he runs off to fetch firewood for the night.
In the woods he picks up sticks and some dried out grass. Bringing it out he places it all in a pile and runs off for more. Once he has all that he needs for his bed, he looks up to the sky. With the sun down it would become colder this night, but this didn’t bother him. What did was the thought of being alone once again.
It had only been a little over a year since his mother had left. But it was a very lonely year. Memory retells its story of his last time he had separated from the wolves. The wolf pack had moved on following the elk. The Alfa bowed to the young half kitsune saying, “We know you will honour your father, just as you have honoured us.” They had taught him how to hunt though they were not the same wolves that his father rescued they were the descendants and vowed not to ever forget what he had done for them. Father had become a legend amongst the wolf clans. “If you ever have need or want you can find us up north where the elk have gone. If you ever meet a wolf all you will have to do is tell them who your father was. They will not forget.”
The young fire fox bows “I will honor father and you all. I shall return someday once my quest is done.” Sayran bows low one last time and watches the pack run off. The alpha turns and says “there is a lot of evil in the world be careful my brother.” When they all are out of site, he speaks softly to himself. “I will return, perhaps even with mother.”
Sayran’s thoughts returned to what he was doing. Could he finally prove himself? And would these new foxes help? Though he was sure they would.
When the night had begun and the moon was high he climbed to the top of a tree and cried out to the moon. Remembering his wolf friends and his parents.
Returning to the others he asks them to please stay at least for the night, they agree.
He begins preparing his bed then he lights it a flame. “Good night all” He bows and disappears into the flame.
The flame clings to him, the surrounding area seems to be in a blanket of warmth. The flames never seem to move beyond a inch of where Sayran had disappeared into.
(ooc: the surrounding area that is a radius of 15 feet. so everyone would be still warm but not hot. :bic) |

After being stuck on that infernal ship so long the site of a place to rest welcomed my tired eyes. So I decided whats the harm in landing on this blue and green planet. After i started to come down i found out that my ship was pretty banged up and began to catch fire on the way down. so i did the only logical thing i could and ejected. shortly there after the ships power suply met the air and exploded. i was lucky to be alive. but how long would my luck hold? not long for the thrusters on the escape pod were busted so i just held on and hoped i didnt hit a mountain. luckily i didn't but my ship was gone and i was hurt. after crawling out of the wreckage of the escape pod i heard the sound of a brook gently gurgleing and then passed out...... _________________ I am Krysys twin brother of Krystal |
