Hi guys, some time ago I put together a little interactive game where you walk in the paws of a fox for one night. It's now up on my website:

The idea is eventually to do another one, probably set in the wilderness. Maybe a mystery, certainly involving a wolf or two Wink we'll see. Anyway, anything that you like / found confusing / would like more of in this one? Feedback is handy. Wink

I really enjoyed it! Fun, but educational as well about fox behaviour.

I was probably expecting more animation, but once I realized that it wasn't a flash file I just ploughed ahead (and cheated by going to every location).

I also did the crossword!

I put this in the wolf forum?? Oh well, that's what comes of not paying attention Embarassed I'll PM Wisefox and ask him to move this!

Thanks, Words. I would like to have some animation, but that would probably require the full version of Macromedia and that isn't cheap. I'm still getting to grips with using Javascript Studying

The crossword was an interesting challenge as it was hard to find interlinking words related to foxes!

I liked it; it was a good game. I didn't go down all the paths though, just sorta where I thought I needed to go. Razz

The crossword was also fun but I never got them all. I guess I still need to do some research on foxes Very Happy

Some of them were quite obscure; a tod is a Scottish word for "fox", for example. I probably should put an answer key on there, come to think of it

Any chance you could move this thread to the Fox General forum, please? I PM'd Wisefox but he's obviously not online at the moment. I posted here because I wasn't paying attention Rolling Eyes

Ah, I thought it was something like Tod but it really didn't fit to the other words that I had on there so that was one of the few that I didn't get.

Sure, I'll move it Wink

I liked the game; crossword was a bit hard for me but I guess that's because I don't know that much about foxes Razz

Thanks Wolf's Fang. I may do a wordsearch as well at some point; strikes me that would be easier to do than the crossword was! And yes, yes, I will get an answer key up there in the unlikely event that I've got a spare moment this week Wink

I played and I commented on it in another thread that mentioned the game but since this is the actual thread for it I will comment here as well.

I really liked the game in fact I added it to my favorits and have played it several times actually. You did a really good job on it Sittingfox. Very Happy

Sorry for the double post, but here's the answer key to the crossword. I've temporarily removed the crossword from the games page while I battle with java and wordsearches Studying

So...I think I guess which clues caused the problems! I'll try to be less obsure with the replacement.

Me too, to be honest...

Well,

, complete with a new crossword (that may or may not be easier, but it has an answer key included!) is now up. No luck yet with wordsearches but will keep working on that. I will also be uploading a fox jigsaw as soon as I have the correct converter, maybe tomorrow...

Apologies for the absurdity of two foxes on a bicycle, but I had to put something wacky on a page like that... Wink
