Few days later, Kit woke up and looked around. There was a large pool of blood beneath him and the sharpel that had hit him was nowhere near him. Standing up, the blood rinsed off Kit as water on wax. He walked towards the destruction he has caused, and realized the full extent of the damage. Machinery and buildings were still ablaze, the ground scorned with fire and bodies could be seen every now and then.
Kit's eyes turned color and his fur blew up as if there was an updrift right beneath him but the wind surrounded him and went outwards. The bodies disappeared, the wreckage disappeared and the fires were extinguished. The souls of the fallen wolves and foxes came near Kit before they went off to the after life. Kit soon found himself once again surrounded by trees as if it was never touched by human hand. He was satisfied with the results.
With one look back toward the center valley, Kit disappeared from the area and found himself back where he made his new home. Soon, he found Vevina nearby and went over to her but never looked directly at her, "That wing could have healed on it's own; I won't heal you again, I can't. That's the price of me healing someone, they can only be healed once."
