Hearing the padding of paws in the distance behind her, Vevina quickly swerved around and faced the direction the noise was coming from. Her shackles went up and she began to bear her teath. She waied for her enemy to appear, a few moments later she could see them. However, it was no enemy, it was Kit. Kit had come to her aid, but hom on earth did he know that she was hurt, and how did he know where to find her?
"KIT!!!"Vevina yipped her friends name in happiness, "Boy am I glad to see you! I was flying and-" she was cut off by his voice. _________________

Sam flew down to Kit looking over Vevina’s wing. The orange fox landed just after she sneezed. Sam just shook his head.
”How is everything doing?” he walked up to the others to see what was going on.
The Kitsune wondered how Kit’s healing worked, he himself had never hadn’t needed Kit to heal him. Sam did know that Kit didn’t use his healing powers just for anything. With Vevina having a broken wing and by the looks of it wouldn’t heal right so she would be able to fly again. So if kit did heal her, it would be as if she never broke it. |

Seeing that they were all wet anyway, it wouldn’t matter if they found a spot out of the rain. Besides the rain was letting up.
“Vevina what made you fly all the way out here anyway? Was it because of the humans again?” They knew how she felt about humans destroying the land.
They walked over the crater that Kit had made a few minutes earlier. Sam changed into a small fox and tried to shake off the extra water. The three friends continued to walk as the sun came out, starting to dry everything.
“You guys getting hungry?” just then a loud grumble came from Sam’s stomach. |

"Well, I didn't have much sleep and those humans woke me up with that big boom and so before I actually ended up trying to kill one of them, I decided to fly away and clear my head and cool off a bit...now about the food, could we eat when we get back? I am starved." Vevina answered.
It was clearing up to be quite a nice day, hopefully they would reach home soon. She had a few things that she wanted to do to her tree, a few last touches, like putting a few flours up there and also creating somewhat of a nest or bed up there on the limb that she prefered. She hoped that she would be able to feel at home there, it wouldn't be her old tree but it would be a good place to stay and maybe be a new home for her. _________________

As Vevina started to move her wing again she was amazed at what Kit had just dond, she hadn't known that Kit had that kind of powers.
She turned to thank Kit but he had already headed off toward the human intrusion.
"I guess I'll thank him later, although, I for one have learned a lesson, no more flying in heavy heavy rain again, no sir, never..." she trailed off, "Let's head for home Sam...Oh, that reminds me, how did you all find me?" _________________

"Well you seem to have telaphathic abilities, that is how we knew you were in trouble. I believe that since we were your closest freinds that is what helped triger it. Because I believe that the three of us have a closeness that goes behond telapathy" Sam turned to her as they spoke. "Your new powers need some focus,I would be happy to help you develop them, if you would like."
The big orange fox, smiled at the small fennic with wings. She has great potental, but she needs guidence.
Walking by a wild grap vine they stopped to eat some. |

Walking again, Sam asks "I'm just curious, hows your wing feeling?" He did not know if she wanted to test it or to keep walking. Either way would be fine with him.
Then his mind started to wander, what is Kit up to? what should we do about the humans? Then he just took a deep breath, to help himself to stop worring about everything, and to fight the worry he had a habit of finding something to be thankful for. He starts speaking in his mind, I am thankful for the earth so sweet, for the birds that sing, I am thankful for everything.
This was something that he had learned as a kit of five.
being thankful is what helps us to fight worrie and fear.
I am also thankful for Kit and Vevina.
They were true friends. |

Near the human encampment where they had stored away all their equipment away from the night, Kit decended from the sky. Before Kit could reach the ground, he could see lots of destruction of the wilderness which he expected. But the one thing that was a bit more unexpected was that there were many dead animals hanging from the roof's of some of the temporary houses in which he took most interest in that there was a few wolves and foxes among the mist of all them.
Kit's soul angered and some could say that there was a slight aura glowing about him like white flames. The sky grew even darker than normal and as soon as Kit touched the ground, a large lightning bolt struck one of the digging equipment machines which caused it to explode. The storm grew violent with constant flashes and deafening thunder, it was a little while before the heavy rain hit.
A couple other of machines exploded and eachone sent a surge of air towards Kit that should have knocked him off his feet but he stood his ground.
From afar, it looked like a violent storm on the horizon and a battle in the mix with constant flames keeping the clouds lit with orange that the rain seem to have no effect on helping put the flames out.
Humans awoke and ran out of their homes and tents and tried to put the fires at. None took interest in Kit but Kit walked among them, looking for the hunters that must have been hired to clear out wildlife dangers. Soon they were found with their guns in hand, Kit glared at them and suddenly a white mist could be seen around them, circling. Sometimes, part of the mist would charge the men and one would fall, while the others stood frozen scared or trying to get away. Sometimes, this mist would take a familar shpae as a wolf, fox, rabbit, couger or bear (the animals that were hung on the roofs).
As soon as the last hunter laid in his own blood, the mist faded up into the air. May their souls rest in peace.
Kit turned back around toward the forest and no longer saw any animals hanging from the roofs. However, the fire spread even unpredictably to Kit which caused another machine to explode near Kit. Kit turned around to see a large sharpel fly right at him. It hit him with great velocity and went at least three inches into his body. It was spinning so it stuck in to Kit from the side rather than a spear kind of a way.
The velocity was great and did not stop when it hit Kit, it forced Kit to go with it that sent him going through the forest line. He finally came to a stop far behind the tree line where he landed on his side with the large sharpel was still in him. He was bleeding severly down the side and his eyes watered so much that he had to close them but he panted heavily. Blood streamed off Kit's body and he soon went unconcious.
The rain finally started to help put out the fire and the storm dissisapated. _________________

Vevina hadn't thought much about it since Kit had healed her wing. she moved it a little and realized that it was perfectly fine, just the way it was before the incident, except for the white paw mark there where Kit had healed her.
"Well, actually, my wing feels perfectly fine right now. It is like brand new, like nothing has happened to it really," Vevina exclaimed as she looked back at her friend. "If you want, since the storm is gone, we can try flying at a low altitude for awhile tht way I can really tell how well my wing is. Do you want to give it a try Sam, let me test out my wing?" _________________
