While Sam slept, Vevina decided that she would talk with Kit some more and catch up on things and then go to sleep herself. She would find another tree to sleep in and yet stay dry, but also be near her friends.

After she sat and talked with Kit for awhile she told him that she would be in the vacenity but she might not be visible. Afterward, she went out in search of a tree near Kit's den. She would sleep there for the night and find a more permanant tree later. She searched high and low but no avale she found no tree that she thought was comefortable. She ended up going back to Kits den and laying on a rock that was a few meters above his den under the shadeing of a tree.

As Vevina drifted into a peaceful sleep she thought over all of the days events and about what she planed on doing the days to come, she couldn't wait to spend time with her friends again, everything was going to be one big adventure and she knew that she would love every minuet of it.

Kit watched Vevina go on the rock to sleep and then he looked back into the den where Sam was sleeping, even though he couldn't see him. Kit still stood there and still had the rain run off his wings as they were still positioned in a way that he kept himself dry. Though his fur and feathers still reamained a perfect, pure white.

The rain is now coming down lightly and the wind has calmed. The storm has lightened and it was kinda peaceful now.

Kit lied down under a tree on a dry patch of dirt. He shook his wings once and much of the water flew off again; Kit lied down and even though he was a bit wet, no mud collected to him. Kit closed his eyes and fell asleep not long afterwards.

Waking with a start Vevina looked around to see who was speaking, then she realized that it was only Sam comunicating with her using his mind.

"Goodness, you gave me quite a scare there, for a second there I thought that someone else was speaking," she chuckled in her mind in response. "Thanks for breakfast Sam," she said out loud this time.

As she went over to where the honey and the meat was jumped down from the hill where the rock was and landed right in front of Kit.

"Come on Kit, wake up," she yipped as she shook him with her paws.

Kit woke up as Vevina jumped on him, he instantly got up with his wings spread out as he was startled. He got up to see the food that Sam has collected.

The sun is out now, though it is still wet and cold with the morning air. "Well, maybe now we should go look for a location for a new den." With that said, Kit looked back across the meadow and along the tree line. It wouldn't set well if they had all their dens so close. Kit started to walk along the tree line got did not go far until he turned back around to look at the other two foxes, "Well, let's go look for a new location."

Sam started to follow Kit so Kit turned back the way he was going and started off along the tree line and toward the other end of the meadow. He wasn't really looking for a spot yet, he just was leading Sam away from his den because he didn't want the den's to be all that close.

Kit stopped when he heard an explosion in the distance, and he looked towards the sound. He could see movement on one of the smaller hills with smoke rising from the other side. Humans! The explosion is clearing the hill and a landside was started. The humans still aren't over it though so it will take them a few days.

Vevina was away on her own when the big noise occured.

BOOM!!!

Vevina jumped, she had been relaxing and daydreaming on a hill, she knew now that the new home was in danger.

"Why can't these humans learn? Why can't they see what they are doing? They are taking innocent animals' homes and destroying them for their own luxury and their own profit! This is beginging to irk me, it makes me sick!" she yelled.

After her outburst, she took to the sky and flew high into the clouds, she needed to get away from the sounds below for awhile, she would just fly around for awhile and relax and calm down, if she didn't, she would end up doing something that she would end up regretting.

Kit now took flight and flew high into the air; since they were already at a high altitude, Kit could not fly much higher but he was able to see the smoke from the explosions. The humans were determined to move that hill and he underestimated them; it's take them by tomorrow to breach the valley.

Kit flew towards the humans to go confront them but they were still quite a few miles away so it'd take him about half an hour to get there.

Now awake, he realizes that the others are gone. Kit must have gone to see what was causing the sound. Rising to his feet, the Kitsune takes a deep breath and is off.
Flying high into the sky right behind Kit, Sam speaks into his mind.
“Kit, I’m coming with you. Perhaps I can help as well.” The orange fox flew hard to catch up to the winged white fox.
Finally catching up, he could see from the high altitude all the smoke. Even with the air streaming around him, he did not lose his focus. They would be there soon enough.
“BOOOM!” another sound of the humans echoed. The forest was now empty of birds.
“We must be careful. I am unsure what the humans will think if they see us.” He turns to Kit. “Let us first see why they are doing this and then we can find a way to deter them from this area.”
When they had landed, Sam focused his telepathy. He needed to tell all animals left in the area to leave. With his mind focused he spoke to all animals a single phase, “Leave this area for the humans are here.” When the message was finished Sam looked to see what should be done next.

((ooc: I wasn't sure if Vevina was with us so I trying to make it work either way. btw I am now going to use a different way to show that Sam is speaking with his mind. EX:

As Vevina continued to fly, she soon began to realize that she had wandered from the area that her and her friends new homes were. She had no idea as to how long she had been flying or as to where she was at.

She was lost!

As Vevina began to clear her thoughts and try to figure out a corse of action she soon noticed that it was cloudy, another story, a thunderstorn to be exact. Not long after she had began to think about what to do did the rain start pouring down in sheets. It was heavy rain, and cold, she needed to land, but where? She couldn't see anything, so it was dangerious for her t try to land, but if she stayed up in the air in a thunderstorm it would be even more dangerous.

After what seemed like an eternity, she made up her mind, she just hoped that it was the right decision. She was going to land.

She began to fly toward the ground below, squinting, trying to get an idea as to what kind of terrain she was landing on. She thought she could see a waterfall but she couldn't be too sure. As she focused on the waterfall, she became distracted, and crashed into a tree, falling and hitting branches as she fell, finally hitting the ground 35 feet below the place she had inpacted the tree.

As she struggled to her feet, she noticed that it pained her to move her right wing. She had broken it on impact. How was she supposed to get back now? All hope seemed lost, all she could do was weep.

"Kit, Sam please forgive me. I lost, I don't know what to do. If oly you all wree here right now.....if only...."

What she didn't realize however was that her friends could hear her cry for help, she had used telepathy for the first time without even realizing it.

As they where looking around the camp, they could see the tents with all the equipment the humans were using. Soon after the storm clouds rolled in, Rain was falling in the distance. Then there was a sudden cry in Sam’s mind, it was Vevina and she was in trouble.
“Kit. We have to go find Vevina. She’s hurt.” The Kitsune could feel her pain and frustration. “We will come back after words.”
With that said, the orange Kitsune ran out and flew into the air.
“Vevina we are on our way. How badly are you hurt?” Sam attempts to link all of their minds. Since Vevina has telepathy doing this isn’t that hard.
“Now we should be able to find her no problem.” Even though they had this link to know where each other were. It was nothing compared to the bond they had as friends.
Sam knew that she was quite some distance away. With a look from Sam, Kit flies ahead.

As Vevina limped around looking for a way back home she heard a voice in her head, it was Sam!

"Sam!" she yelled, "How on earth did he know that I was hurt?"

"I need to find a way to get in contact with them....but how?" she telepathically sent to her friends without realizing it.

"I wonder if Kit will be able to heal my wing?*sigh*I can only hope that they find me and don't get hurt themselves in the process."
