"Me? I'm not from anywhere in peticular, I've been travelling all over." Shadow looked at the other wolves, none of them took the meat yet. He wasn't quite too sure if the she-wolf liked him being there.

Shadow turned and looked back at the meadow, it was buitiful and there are still many herds of elk grazing. Shadow then looked at where he killed the elk, it was still hidden behind some trees.

Tazkaera didn't remove her eyes from the black wolf as she dipped her head and politely bit a piece off of his catch. For one who hunts so well, it is surprising that you have not found and dominated a pack yet. Tell me, why do you roam?

Foben shifted his weight from side to side, the conversation frustrating him. He wanted to eat already, but knew Taz would be displeased by him butting in for a bite.

"Why do I roam?" Shadow asked himself. True he did hunt well, he really didn't know why he haven't been in a pack yet. He wondered if it was because he usually went through a pack's territory or either because he also looked for a good location.

"I've been travelling a lot, not just for a pack, I can do fine on my own, but also for a great locations and this," Shadow said and looked out into the meadow, "is a great loacation."

Shadow looked back at the wolf and waited for her response, Will she accept me? What should I do if not, this is a great spot for hunting? Shadow though to himself.

For a moment, Tazkaera was silent, but then she relented and spoke. Yes, I suppose I must accept that since it is the same for me. I, at least, do not mind that you are here.

Foben, rather then be left out, decided after a few minutes to follow Jeremy. He padded along quietly enough, but her was upwind and knew he couldn't sneak up on the other wolf. Still, his mind searched for some new game.

Shadow was now left alone with Taz. "Pretty much the rest of the elk is gone but the carcasse is back that way behind a few trees," Shadow said looking back behind him.

Shadow turned and went in the oppisite direction of the other two wolves, not far but he just wanted to lie down for a bit. Shadow lied down in the long, green grass and watched the herds move about.

A flock of geese were seen above; there was plenty of food, but Shadow just needed to know one thing, where's a water source. Shadow looked around, he didn't get up though. He'd find the water soon enough but now, he just wanted to relax.

Thrilled that the wolf was up for the game, Foben pounced on Jeremy, growling as fiercely as he could manage.

Mars watched from the ceiling of the cave bonds being formed, and yet unrest shall be... Restored.

He took off into the night, unnoticed.

Shadow laid in the long grass. A breeze blew threw his fur and he sighed. He could hear two of the wolves playing, in the wind. The elk herds moved through the meadow, grazing and Shadow watched them. They looked ever so peaceful.

Shadow lied there for several minutes before he got up and walked toward where the two wolves were at. He stood there and waited to see what else they needed to do next.

Tazkaera watched Shadow, her concern slowly leaving her. It was a peaceful evening, and she enjoyed imagining what the sunset would look like over this place- it was about to come.
But suddenly, the wind shifted. An old kill wasn't far away. Very old, if she was correct. She thought little of it.

Foben rolled away, tired from the game. And hungry, as he suddenly realized. Yes, he even smelled something, all of a sudden. It was old, but still, free food. He got up and started towards it, not looking back at Jeremy. He trotted through the woods, not knowing the land yet but having a good sense of direction through smell. A vulture passed overheard, going towards the kill. He followed along, salivating at the thought of meat. He might even be able to catch one of the scavenger birds, his favorite. He bounded over a small boulder, the smell overwhelming, and stopped short.

His eyes fixed in horror on the wolf corpse.
