yeah I really liked the end of episode 2 (or was it 3?) when they were trying to get Cheza out of the lab thing but that one guy got to Cheza first.
**SPOILER ALERT**

that guy is Darcia. you'll hear about him later but if you read this then you'll know about it.

**SPOILER ALERT OVER**
for anyone still reading, I've finished the first ten episodes. gonna watch some more in a bit...

around 26 is where it gets interesting; you'll like those unless your lighthearted and got really into the story.

T'is a great anime and all but I would have liked to see more wolves, and wolf action. The main characters were in human form for quite a bit of the series.

I've watched all 30 episodes, and I have to say, I loved it!

I agree with LupisFang, though....They were in hman form many time when it wasn't really neccesary, like walking through the snow with no one for a mile around...this is a bit of a big mess up, especially for Kiba. Remember, in the first episode, Kiba had to be talked into finnaly taking a human form, and it is implied that he still does not like to do it (his "Pride as a wolf", remember?...yet in those scenes where they could have been in wolf form without any consequences, Kiba still remains in human form, even though he would almost certainly be the first one to return to wolf form...get what I'm saying?

I would have liked to see a bit more of the main characters in wolf form....

I watched the first episode of that, (I felt obligated to, really) but decided not to watch any more. It happened to line up with a lot of my pet peeves. First of all, I don't love when the Japanese style is more exaggerated, though there are plenty of good anime which do use that. But what really bugged me was one comparison made between a wolf and a dog. Something about how a wolf could take a bullet that a dog of the same size couldn't...which drives me crazy since wolf-sized dogs rarely have less durability, and often have been bred to have more. I know I'm over-analyzing.

I've seen all 30 episodes, and I have to say that the last four were... a little too much for me, heh.. I mean, I'm super sensitive, haha xD

So, since I got attached to all the characters, of course I'm gonna lose it when they all die. But yeah, Toboe's death was too much for me, I loved him soo much!! Crying or Very sad

Sad Yes, Toboe was my favourite of the four main characters...he was always so childish, and innocent...it was funny in the beginning how he kept following Tsume around, no matter how many times Tsume said "Go away!", Toboe would still be following him around, like Tsume was his hero or something Smile

But if you ask about my favourite character in the entire show, I'd say, hands down.....Quent Yaiden *prepares to be shot for that* yes, Quent, the crazy old sherrif with a thing for drinking and shooting wolves, he was my favourite character.....Quent Yaiden is a good example of a human, prepared to do anything to get revenge; Fueled by his hatred for the wolves that destroyed his hometown (or that he thinks destroyed his hometown), he'll stop at nothing to eradicate them all, and knows that the four main charaters are much more than humans, though noone will believe him...yet, he doesnt realise at first that his loyal dog, Blue, is actually part wolf herself.....the last bit before Toboe and Quent died, was extremely touching to me, but alas, I must avoid any further spoilers on that..

So, for his dogged determination, the fire in his eyes, his intense hatred for wolves, and for being a perfect example of just how far humans will go when they are filled with anger and hatred, Quent Yaiden is my official favorite character in the anime....
