It's good, I like it although it is kinda sad. I don't want to give to much away, but it is sad. Kinda long too, not really, two hours. I like it because of the huskies and how realistic they kept it. I'm interested in learning about husky teams so I learned a bit about it from the movie. I recommend watching it but it is sad in some parts.

Crying or Very sad NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOHOOOOOHH! Sad movies with animals makes me Crying or Very sad And then I Help in a pool of my own tears.

But I heard that it's pretty cool when the huskies have to get the collars off of themselves. They had to be trained to do that and I saw actual footage of it on t.v.

Yeah, they had to be trained, some of them. Some of the dogs break their collars to get off and one breaks teh chain and carries that with him around his neck the whole time, that would really annoy me having a chain around my neck for that long.

Thier were about a total of 32 (four dogs for each character) dogs on the show, and two trainers for each dog. Quite a bit of people and animals.

It was sad, that last one almost didn't make it. But thankfully she did, shame about the other two though. Crying or Very sad

I didn't see it in the movies. Though I like it, I've seen it three times now. Some of those shots are excellent and real. I like the shot with the huskies and the plane when the main character is leaving. That's a real shot, no computer animation. A lot of the movie is real, that's one of the reasons why I like it, there's not as much computer animation as there are in other movies.

Oh yeah I want to learn more about that too. It says inspired by a true story but not based on a true story so I wonder what the true story is.

You can do a search on it, there are a few different sites you can look at. In the true story, only 2 dogs survived.

they probly didn't wanna make it that way so younger audiences would watch it. 6 dead dogs doesn't make for happy younglings, all they'd do is drown in their tears. Crying or Very sad turns into Help

Taro and Jiro, brothers, were miraculously found alive. You can read about the movie 'Antarctica' here. It is based on the true story, unlike Disney's Eight Below, which is 'inspired' by the true story.
