I find it quite shocking that most of the ads here at the bottom of the forum are where to buy fur, I think this is about the last thing the members here want to do.

I haven't got an idea how to change the ads, maybe it is possible to write an email to googleads, I made a complaint and will let you know about the outcome

I'll see what can be done. There are often complaints about the ads provided by Google.

I've known google to give questionable results when given non-specific keywords to search.

I once tried googleing for documented hunting tactics used by wolf packs, by searching for such ambiguous terms as "wolf hunting tactics" and such. Big mistake. I wound up getting mostly tactics used by humans for hunting wolves.Rolling Eyes Oops.

Needless to say, I am more careful to be specific with my searches from now on.

I could hazard a guess, then, that ads like the one kibib pointed out (which I happen to be looking at right now at the top of the page as I type this, BTW) are what happens when google's ad generators are told to select advertisements for animal or 'furry' websites. Certainly worth a complaint, at any rate. Wouldn't want visitors to this forum thinking we support that in any way, now would we.

Yes, I've seen them once... long time ago. I have adblock now. Especially on wolf-related site's. Not really because I hate ads, but because of the ads itself that are everything but relevant to the site Confused

@ UltraMetaloid
Heh, I once searched for the Elephants Dream movie, made by Blender. I had forgotten the title, I only remembered it had 'elephant' in it. I found myself searching Google for 'elephant blender'... ¬_¬

Lucky for me, Google understood what I was searching for. Phew Rolling Eyes
