I finished the sketches for my new character sheets and submitted them to scraps:

I figured I’d get some feedback before inking and coloring them. Preaze? :<

Please to be ignoring the horrible smudges and obvious photoshop edits (which I did to help me when I do the lineart) I plan on transitioning them all to digital.

The first four are werewolf characters, obviously, so it took a long time to do their character sheets since I wanted to draw all their forms. If you want any info about the characters, let me know, I'd be happy to share.

Nami, the first link, reminds me of an anime character of some anime show that I never watched. Which I think she looks best as the two first forms. She also seems a bit like a leader of a pack or something.

Tsuchi, second link, looks and seems an awful like the young wolf off of Wolf's Rain. I forget his name. But Tsuchi just seems young, naive and playful. Great job on him Wink

Mizu, you get it by now, is pretty cool in the two final wolf forms. Though, honest, I think the final wolf form, his head is a bit disportionate compared to the rest of his body.

Kaze - He must have some type of story why he always looking depressed.

And for the final four, they look pretty great too. (I wish I could draw Razz

) I'd like to see a bit more information about these characters Wink

Thanks for the kind words.

I tried to make Mizu the fluffiest looking wolf XD I can understand why you'd see that the head is disproportionate though. Thanks for the tip.

Wolf's Rain did serve as some inspiration for my story at first, but I gradually drifted into something a lot more my own Razz

Nami's not a leader quite yet, but she definitely wants to be and has the personality type of a leader. Very Happy

Tsuchi is generally an optimistic and cheerful guy, he's only 17 so he is indeed young, though Nami is only 16, but her personality is a lot different.

Kaze's not really depressed, he's just really really painfully shy. XD

Personality: Tsuchi is very happy, optimistic, and social, and he rarely allows even the toughest of trials to depress him for too long. He tries to cheer others up often as well, even if it isn’t always welcomed. He sometimes makes jokes at inappropriate moments, but all he’s ever trying to do is lighten the mood. He tends to act a bit more like a dog than he does a wolf, always friendly and willing to wag his tail for visitors. Tsuchi has a great heart, and he could probably make even the most depressed emo kid smile if he tried hard enough. He hates being alone and will often seek the company of others, particularly Nami. Despite his cheerful demeanor, he’s capable of holding long grudges against anyone who he felt betrayed him.

Personality: Mizu is calm, collected, mature, and enjoys the simpler things in life, like lovely ocean scenery or a quiet night alone with a book. He rarely panics in intense situations. Mizu has a lot of loved ones depending on him, and he’ll go to any lengths to protect them and gladly fight to the death for any one of them. Sometimes he feels like he never does a good enough job, which, at times, gives him a terrible feeling of insufficiency, that when combined with his fear of failure, can drive him into a bad depression. He’s even felt so overwhelmed that he has considered suicide at some points. However, all he needs is some reassurance from someone he loves, and a reminder that he has others to look out for, in order to get back on his feet.

Vulnerabilities: Lack of physical strength, Lack of combat skills, Afraid of confrontation
Personality: Kaze is very shy, quiet, and isn’t used to socialization. He grew up a bit isolated and sheltered, and lived a rather lonely life before meeting Mizu and joining his pack. Kaze can’t stand to see any living creature suffer, and despite being a werewolf and naturally carnivorous, he’s a vegetarian and won’t eat anything capable of feeling pain. He hates fighting and confrontation of any kind and is completely disgusted by violence. Kaze is also extremely intelligent and has a knack for writing, and he’s capable of solving most of his conflicts through discussion rather than force, although there are times he has to make exceptions.
Likes: Writing, tinkering, climbing, healing sick or injured animals
Dislikes: Violence, arguments, meat, confrontation

Right now I only have them completed for the werewolf characters, though, I'm afraid. But I did write this little tidbit about Touken:

Touken grew up in a wealthy family, and he often had things handed to him at whim. He was taught hunting by his older sister, Shiga. He was the kind of kid that was raised by gadgets more than he was by his parents.
When Touken was a teenager, he tried to impress girls with his material possessions alone, but whenever he was asked who he was besides just his things, he’d get flustered, unsure if whether or not he was really a “somebody.” He eventually set a goal, that he would become known as a hero and valuable asset to Shijin, even if he had to do it through not-so-heroic methods.
Once he learned about the legend of the werewolves, he began researching, and decided they could be used as a scapegoat if he could convince most of the city that they existed. He was never sure if the werewolves really existed or not, but he was determined to make a name for himself. Regardless, he convinced a good number of people that they were very real, and they were very much of a threat.
He discovered a group called the Shijin Beast Control, a small group of hunters who had been around for years, and always believed that werewolves existed and were a clear threat. However, they also always had a rather insignificant influence on the city, that is, until Touken joined the group, and brought with him all the people he had convinced. His sister Shiga joined as well, but she was mainly just in it for the fun and thrill.
Touken and Shiga quickly gained high ranking in the Shijin Beast Control for increasing the group’s number greatly. With their combined ability to manipulate others, the two of them turned it from a small werewolf-hunting group into an influential organization, which eventually got support from the City’s government.
Once Touken encountered real werewolves in the Sankei forest, and discovered that they actually exited, he became more obsessed with them than ever. Shiga began to think that Touken was taking things a bit too far, but her concern usually went ignored. Touken had no qualms with killing what he considered worthless beasts in order to gain what he wanted. He wanted authority, he wanted power, and most of all, he wanted recognition. He wanted to become a “somebody,” and he wouldn’t settle for anything less.
