Binary? I understand the concept of binary numbers, and in fact can convert 4-bit binaries to decimal in my head in a split second (5 or more bits and it gets a bit tricky for my mind)....but that's just me; I agree that binary #s arent exactly the easiest thing to understand sometimes...

You can see a binary like this:
Code:
16-8-4-2-1

When you add your binary (10011) to it:
Code:
16-8-4-2-1
 1-0-0-1-1

you can just count the numbers that are above the one's.
16+2+1=19
so 10011 is 19 Smile

It's easy when you understand it Razz

So now for the words:
Let's take your nickname: Ex-Soldier Cloud
Every character has is own number.
a=97
b=98
3=51

So when you put your nickname in 'ASCI' you get:
69 120 45 83 111 108 100 105 101 114 32 67 108 111 117 100
And you can convert that again in binary Razz
1000101 1111000 101101 1010011 1101111 1101100 1100100 1101001 1100101 1110010 100000 1000011 1101100 1101111 1110101 1100100

Ha, people get confused when I just write real words, so I don't need to confuse them more. I never studied any codes though, so I don't know much about it.
