These are awful images, made all the more so by how senseless the aerial gunning programs are. Under the guise of “wolf management,” state officials set arbitrary goals for the number of wolves to be killed and turn thrill-seeking aerial hunters loose on Alaska’s native wolves.

In the process, the state is flouting a 1972 federal law outlawing aerial hunting and disregarding the majority of Alaska voters, who have twice rejected aerial hunting by private hunters and pilots.

Over the past four years, nearly 700 wolves have been killed under the program. And, if last year is any indication, state officials will be gunning for hundreds more once aerial gunning begins again later this fall.

I don't like it myself James. However some people have to see reality close up to make them understand whats going on. And that is the case with many things not only the Wolves.

The truth. of couse, is that the Alaskan government is making $$$$$$$$$ from Aerial gunning. and that is $$$$$$$$$ that they do NOT want to give up.

there is never a reason for pointless hunting

its a hard struggle to stop these things,cuz people are utter fools that care about money,for example a man (dont remember his name) has invented a way to power a home for years with just a few old batteries (double A and ect) and the government whent as far as sabotage to make sure the man doesint get his invention patented cuz this mans idea will cause power companies to end and this man has been fighting for a patent in america for 20+years and still is,this shows how stupid people can be,we just gotta try hard ya know?

I never actually watched it either, to be honest. no one's forcing you to watch it. the purpose of all this graphic stuff is to get people aware of the seriousness of the situation. I think all of us here more or less understand how serious this issue is by this point...
