I found this article quite interesting:

It raises the question of were the line between animal and human can be drawn, and if there really is one.

Oh, there is a line between humans and animals, most people just put it too high. Animals are a lot more talented and inteligent than most people give them credit for! Smile

Take Kelly the dolphin from that article, she's definitly one smart girl. And animals, although some humans would hate to admit it, do have a major 1-up on us - Their senses are much superior to ours, with the possible exception of some animals' eyesight. Dogs have been used for ages to detect bombs, drugs, fuel substances (for arson investigation purposes), people (including both living and dead bodies), and now, they are even begining to be used to sniff out cancer in humans. Clearly, humans cannot begin to match this amazing nose, even with our most advanced technology.

And that's just the beginning, folks, because some animals have senses that we dont! Bats and dolphins, among other animals, use a form of sonar to find thier way around in low visibility. Many snakes posess "heat vision", being able to sense infrared, or heat rays, and bees can see in ultraviolet! There are even electric eels that can sense changes in the electric fields around them, and literaly 'feel' objects before they get close to them, and sharks can sense electric fields of injured fish and mammals, too!

I havent even started on the amazing inteligence that some animals show; dolphins and wolves show incredibly amazing inteligence (I say, wolves even more so for knowing to stay away from strange humans Wink ). Yes, there is a definite line between humans and animals, but beware, for that line is probably much closer than to think! Smile

Speaking of extra senses, has anyone ever heard of this cat:

How strange, and plenty of news sources agree that it's legit.
