I like those raccoons, they've got to be some of my favorite characters in the whole comic. They're hilarious

Agreed, TWF, the raccoon bros are definitly great to see back....and it appears Ricky is having a bit of a break and actually acting half intelligent for a change, "I asked a good question! I asked a good question!" ...or not? Anyhow, I'm sure they'll get it together sooner or later; As far as I'm concerned, given his situation, Randy probably couldnt be in better hands. (or paws?) Smile

Actually, I'm feeling more sorry for Cindy, worried sick about Randy, but yet she cant do anything right now but wait. In any case, all of this will make for an all the more touching reunion when Randy returns to the farm, right?

Yeah, they're really interesting and fun characters to have around; I'm glad that they were brought back as well. Better than Dusk... Razz

If Dusk had found him before Ricky and Alphonse, yeah, that would have been trouble....but it is never too late for Dusk to get involved, is it?

Actually, on my characters to watch out for scale, Dusk is relatively low, if only because she isnt around very much...Dusk is quite interesting to have around, as she keeps ya on your toes. But, as annoying as Dusk is, Kira and the cats are more annoying, and the cats are ever present and always scheming. But Kira always keeps an eye on Randy to make sure her cat toy is never permanently damaged, so they are more annoying than anything else.

Now, the only character I'd be worried about more than Dusk and the cats, is Myrtle; Although the hen is well meaning (usually), she has, by far, the most potential to be harmful - Lets not forget how Myrtle very nearly came this close to killing Cindy with an accidental overdose of cold medicine. Frankly, I'm surprised Myrtle survived her next encounter with Cindy after that. Surprised

Anyhow, the wait is on for Randy to awaken, and with any luck, things will go smoother after that.

Cats are benefitial though Wink since they're trying to help Randy, in a way. Myrtle is a complete liability though.

More or less, yeah, Myrtle is more of a liability than a help. But Myrtle will try and help if you give her suficient proding and motivation, which actually isnt that hard. For example, it's obvious that Myrtle (and indeed, pretty much everyone on the farm, to one degree or another) looks forward to seeing fox kits at the farm some day (or more to the point, she dreams of being an aunt to some adorable fox kits Rolling Eyes ) hence the motivation to try and get the foxes back together. Unfortunately, despite her incredible determination when she puts he mind to something, Myrtle is far from the brightest bulb in the box, and proves to be more of a pain in the rear, if not a complete liability.

All said, Mrytle shows the potential to be useful in a pinch, you just need to give her a reason to help (again, usually pretty easy), and then keep an eye on her to make sure she does it right. Otherwise, lock her in her room where she can watch her soaps and be out of the way.

Such a shame, though, that she is the only animal who can write human (albeit rather badly), making her an essential member of the farm. If not for that, she woulda been outta there a long time ago...

Well, Cocky the Cockatoo is back, and once again making me laugh my head off with his horribly broken up english that is even worse than Myrtle's handwriting! Very Happy

Ouch! Sad

I feel terribly sorry for Cindy right now...although Randy really isnt in the worst of shape, this poor vixen, who was already worried sick about Randy without knowing what had happened, now has to learn that he was in fact injured on the job, which was one of her chief fears when he left in the first place. Remember, Randy is pretty much the love of her life, right? And he went to a place that Cindy found terrifying when she was there. Put everything together and it's clear that although he really has no choice, Cocky is only making a bad situation worse for Cindy...

Sorta. Cocky was absent for about two or three weeks after he left for the barn (he was SUPPOSED to stay WITH Randy, but that didnt happen..). This week, Cocky finnally made it to the barn, aparently he had been fighting a rather strong tailwind (ie. the wind was blowing him away from his destination; Stu apparently misinterpeted that bit Razz)

anyhow, it seems Cindy has done what was really inevitable from the begining, it was only a matter of time: She's gone out to look for Randy herself. I wish her luck.

Actually, a thought just struck me, that mabye her luck will be pretty good. I mean, the Racoon Brothers, who lived (used to live) at the wildlife sanctuary, found Randy. Now, Randy and Myrtle once made the trip to said sanctuary pretty quickly, when they were out looking for Cindy. this means that the sanctuary really isnt far from the farm. They seemed to make the trip in less than a day, mabye a few hours.

So if the Racoons found Randy, he couldnt have been far from the sanctuary, and so he couldnt really be too far from home! So provided Cindy is headed in the right direction, it wont be long until she finds her fox.

I cant wait to see what happens next!
